CHED Merit Scholarship is a Government Funded Scholarship Program aimed to support Talented Students those who belongs to the Following group:
- Underprivileged and homeless citizens (RA 7279);
- Persons with Disability (RA 7277) and
- Solo parents and/or their dependents (RA 8371).

The CHED Scholarship Program is open for All incoming Freshmen who want to pursue undergraduate studies in CHED Recognized Priority Program as Follows:
- (HEIs) – private higher education institutions
- (SUCs) – State Universities and Colleges and
- (LUCs) – Local Universities and Colleges.
CHED Scholarship Requirements
To Apply For the CHED Scholarship Program you need to Follow the List of Valid requirements:
- Must be a Filipino Citizen,
- He or She Must be Graduating High School Students
- High School Graduate with GWA – General Weighted Average of at least 96% For Full Merit Program and
- 93% to 95% or its equivalent for Half Merit Program
- Student-applicants belonging to the special group of persons such as:
- underprivileged and Homeless Citizens under Republic Act (RA) No. 7279,
- Persons with Disability (PWDs) under RA No. 7277 as amended,
- Solo Parents and/or their Dependents under RA 8371,
- shall submit certifications and/or Identification Cards (IDs) issued by the appropriate offices or agencies.
- Must Avail only one Government-Funded Scholarship Program.
- Must Enroll in the Courses as mention in the list of CHED Priority program.
Document requirements to Apply
To Apply Scholarship find the list of valid Documents
- Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate,
- Academic Requirements:
- High school report card for incoming freshmen students eligible for college; and
- Duly certified true copy of grades for Grade 11 and 1st semester of Grade 12 for graduating high school students
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or guardian;
- Certificate of Tax Exemption from the (BIR) – Bureau of Internal Revenue;
- Certificate of Indigence either from their Barangay or
- (DSWD) Department of Social Welfare and Development;
- Case Study report from DSWD; and
- Latest copy of contract or proof of income, for the children of Overseas Filipino Workers and seafarers
- Identification Card (ID)
- Special Group:
- Underprivileged or Homeless,
- PWD,
- Solo Parent,
- Senior Citizen,
- Indigenous People.

Scholarship Benefits under Private HEIs
Full PESFA Yearly Benefits
Full PESFA Scholars will receive a total of ₱120,000/Yearly, Given as Mention
- Tuition and other school fees – ₱40,000
- Stipend – ₱70,000
- Book and Connectivity allowance of – ₱10,000
Full PESFA – Semestral Benefits as follows
Full PESFA – Semestral will receive a total of ₱60,000, as follows:
- Tuition & Other School Fees – ₱20,000;
- Stipend – ₱35,000;
- Book and Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half PESFA – Yearly Benefits
Half PESFA – Yearly will receive a total of ₱60,000 Given as follows:
- Tuition & other school fees – ₱20,000;
- Stipend – ₱35,000;
- Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half PESFA – Semestral Benefits
Half PESFA – Semestral will receive a total of ₱30,000, Given as follows:
- Tuition & other school fees – ₱20,000;
- Stipend – ₱17,500;
- Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱2,500.

Full SSP – Yearly Benefits
Full SSP Yearly Benefits will receive a total of ₱80,000, Given as follows:
- Tuition and other school fees – FREE;
- Stipend – ₱70,000;
- Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱10,000.
Full SSP – Semestral Benefits
Full SSP Semestral Benefits will receive a total of ₱40,000, Given as follows:
- Tuition & other school fees – FREE;
- Stipend – ₱35,000;
- Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half SSP – Yearly Benefits
Half SSP Yearly Benefits will Get a total of ₱40,000, Given as follows:
- Tuition & other school fees – FREE;
- Stipend – ₱35,000;
- Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.
Half SSP – Semestral Benefits
Half SSP Semestral Benefits will Get a total of ₱20,000/year, Given as follows:
- Tuition & other school fees – FREE;
- Stipend – ₱17,500;
